The principle of BEAUTY-TOX

Nora Bode has developed a naturally working alternative to the Botox injections, which is able to reduce lines and wrinkles because of the muscle relaxation as well as a strong stimulation of the skin’s own collagen and hyaluron synthesis. Beauty-tox reduces the depth of the lines and wrinkles in the face caused by the contractions of the muscles of facial expressions, especially in the forehead and around the eyes.

Beauty-tox increases the amount of collagen and hyaluron in the skin and by that tightens and plumps up the skin.

One of the main active ingredients is the hexapeptide ARGIRELINE, a non-toxic substance which relaxes facial muscles in a non-paralytic way through the gradual reduction of neurotransmitters that initiate muscle contractions and through its capability to change a complex needed for the neurotransmitter release.

The second active principle of Beauty-Tox is the stimulation of the skin’s own collagen and hyaluron synthesis.

The active molecule in MATRIXYL is a pentapeptide, which –pressure injected with the oxyjet –penetrates the skin reaching the fibroblast cells. Here it incites the cells to synthesise the molecules if connective tissue, the skin “matrix” such as collagen and hyaluronic acid.

First visible results appear after about 3 weeks, the optimum can be seen after about 60 days.



How is BEAUTY-TOX applied?

The BEAUTY-TOX treatment is applied using the Nora Bode OXYjet. Using pulsed oxygen pressure, the special active ingredients penetrate the deep living “basal” layers of the skin. At least 3 to 5 treatments in 2/3 weeks are recommended (depending upon the skin condition). The BEAUTY-TOX treatment requires an intensive after treatment with two Homecare products, BEAUTY-TOX Splendid Cream for the problem areas, and the BEAUTY-TOX Care Fluid for the face, neck and décolleté.

How does BEAUTY-TOX work?

BEAUTY-TOX does NOT paralyse the facial muscles, the high concentration of the relaxing ingredient used reduces the muscle contractions responsible for the formation of lines and wrinkles on the forehead, and around the eyes and mouth.



What is the best age to start with the BEAUTY-TOX treatment?

All ages will benefit from BEAUTY-TOX treatments, but if possible, it is suggestive to start in the mid 20s to prevent premature ageing.
